Trish Lane, PsyD, is a graduate of the Georgia School of Professional Psychology (Atlanta, GA) and is a licensed clinical psychologist in California, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. With 13 years of experience as a licensed clinician she is responsible for providing grief counseling and pet loss services at California Animal Referral & Emergency (CARE) Hospital. Her background as a trauma psychologist (http://cgi.citizen-times.com/cgi-bin/story/9588) and her great passion for animals is the basis for bringing this important service to CARE Hospital. It is her desire to make sure that the human animal bond is recognized and that a forum for grief is provided. Having lost two very dear companions, she personally appreciates the hole left in one's heart after the death of a beloved pet. At CARE Hospital, animals and their owners are treated with kindness and respect. If we can be of assistance before, during or after the loss or death of your animal companion, please do not hesitate to talk with Dr. Lane or the staff at CARE Hospital.
